Over the years our business has seen many changes. When we lived out on the coast, our business name was Driftwood Beach Crafts. But that was no longer fitting when we moved inland. At that point, we rebranded to Evergreen Candle Co.
At the same time, we also started a family blog. Originally intending to travel, we named it Dreaming Big Living Small referring to living in a RV. Traveling never happened, and instead the blog became focused on homesteading and preparedness topics.
And as time has gone by, we have realized that the candles, melts & soaps really fit together and complement our homestead adventures. We have also come to realize that trying to run three businesses (we have a web design and marketing business also) and keeping up with all the things was just way too much.
To that end, we decided to merge Evergreen Candle Co. and Dreaming Big Living Small. Our new business name is Rustic Homestead Living, drawing from our homesteading dreams and our goals to teach people how to homestead, live a healthier life, and build a community.
All our current candles, melts & soaps are available on the new website (links above in this and future emails), along with our previous teachings from the blog. Going forward, we will be adding local baked goods (you may have already found those at a market this fall), spices, and other homesteading related products. New teachings will also become available each month, through written articles, videos and a podcast.
We look forward to continuing to supply you with the cleanest products and so much more.
